The President’s remarks this evening had a clever message hidden within and it was directed at the Muslims living abroad.
Before giving away too much, here’s the the line that all knowledgeable Muslims will recognize:
“A wound inflicted upon a single member of our community, is a wound inflicted upon all of us.”
Now, this time the President was actually not referring to the horrific events that unfolded in the Middle East–that’s true. Instead, he was talking about the tragic death in Charlottesville, Virginia. But it came in the middle of a speech about a rumored troop surge in Afghanistan and in order to counter radical Islam. It follows that a lot of Muslims were listening closely.
Despite all this Fox Business’ Neil Cavuto and Kennedy were unable to decipher the meaning behind Trump’s words, the purpose seemed to escape them — but they probably haven’t read the Quran in awhile, so that’s forgivable.

Here’s what the Quran says in the 32nd verse of its 5th chapter:
On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person – unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land – it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.
This message is clear to any Muslim — its an offer for them to choose between what can be amicable relations or pure animosity.
The most clever part of all is that it came as a reminder to American’s too. Now, there are a lot of questions that remain to be answered and while the President won’t be so inclined as to provide such answers, the impact this move will have on his ability to control Congress will be closely linked to his balancing act on the homefront.
There’s bipartisan agreement on this issue: Moms and Dads aren’t too keen on their boys going off to fight without knowing about it.
Still, this was one message that the terrorists didn’t want to receive: Obama has certainly left the building.
