Cheaper Than An Ice Cream Cone: Swedish Gangs Are Armed With Grenades And They’re Easy To Get
What’s worse than a bad guy with a gun in a society desert of good guys with guns? Probably a bad guy with a box of hand grenades–but that sounds too ridiculous to be true, right? Wrong.
In 2015, there were 150 grenade related crimes in Sweden. That’s not a typo. That was an increase from 2014 during which there were 25 related offenses. By 2016, there was a 170 percent increase in grenade attacks, year over year.
Worst of all, you can get a grenade on the street for cheaper than you can buy ice cream.
Many of the attacks are the result of organized crime but some are linked to Islamists and true to form, a massive increase of attacks followed the opening of Sweden’s borders to the so-called “refugee crisis.”
Gun Control Failures In The Eurozone: People Are Dying
On June 12, 2015 a 4-year-old girl died in one of these explosions. In August of 2016, an 8 year old UK citizen died when a grenade was thrown through the window of the building his family was staying in. The list goes on and on but these articles will mostly never be covered in English because the media is uninterested in telling you anything that pushes back against their narrative.
In Sweden, it is illegal to import weapons and it is almost impossible to obtain a firearm unless you are doing so for the purposes of hunting or unless you are looking to purchase a breech-loaded rifle manufactured prior to the year 1890. Technically speaking, full-auto firearms are available for purchase but this class of weapons is pretty much universally restricted for the general population and consigned solely to contractors and members of specific law enforcement branches. In all cases, it is illegal for a Swede to open-carry a firearm except for the sole purpose of hunting or while in the confines of a shooting range. Concealed carried permits, are, of course, prohibited. Transport of weapons is strictly regulated and a matter taken seriously by the authorities.
So, a natural question arises: are violent means of retribution out-of-reach from the underbelly of Swedish society? Or, phrased easier for the liberal troglodytes in America: does gun control work?
There’s an incredible amount of data available but much of it is clouded in the fog of language and often doesn’t reach the Anglo-sphere. Breitbart has delved into the matter a few times but it’s worth reflecting further. Here’s an interesting aspect of the evolution of these attacks:
At first, the grenade attacks were mostly directed at cars and homes linked to criminals and their relatives — but from two years ago perpetrators began to target the nation’s “society and state”, an expert at Sweden’s National Police Department told SVT.
According to SVT, police are incredibly concerned that these attacks are increasingly targeting municipal buildings, police stations, and police officers. They’re quite surprised that there haven’t been more deaths.
Where are the grenades coming from? Where are the attacks taking place?
These questions seem to be inherently linked. The grenades are largely left over from the various wars that took place in the Balkans and the largest concentration of these attacks is found in the Swedish city of Malmö. The city which has been increasingly covered by leftist outlets as a locale where “Swedish hipsters and Syrian refugees have bonded” is clearly at the heart of the issue. In August of 2015, 30 separate grenade attacks rocked the city to its core. (The city is also known for being rape-central.)
It’s important to consider the implication here and to do that it takes a short geography primer:
Here’s a map of what’s called the “Western Balkan Route:”
And here’s a map of the route traveled by refugees into greater Europe:
And for the most part, a lot of these grenades are coming from the conflicts that followed the break-up of Yugoslavia:
Are you seeing a pattern here? It would appear as thought the group of people in the best position to be pumping Sweden full of grenades are the refugees. and it would also appear that the grenade attacks are largely taking place where refugees are choosing to settle. These refugees aren’t fleeing a warzone, no. They’re importing one to Sweden.
So let’s put this all together:
A country with stringent gun laws is experiencing an absurd amount of attacks using explosives imported by refugees. Translation: bad guys find a way to be bad no matter how much you stop good guys from defending themselves. In fact, you make it easier for the bad guys.
