Before An Amazon Drone Delivers Your Goods A Cartel Might Deliver Its Bombs…

Apparently machetes just aren’t cutting it these days so instead the thugs south of the border are turning to technology–explosive drone-delivered technology–as a viable alternative.

From Fox News:

Mexican police reportedly pulled over four men driving a stolen pick-up truck and discovered a drone carrying an explosive device in the vehicle, leading some analysts to fear drug cartels may have figured out how to arm the devices to attack opponents — including those inside the United States.

The Mexican Federal police stumbled on the drone during a routine traffic stop in Guanajuato — and thank God they did.  A number of cartels are known to operate out of the Guanajuato region and Guanajuato City.

Local news outlet, San Miguel Times, reports that Guanajuato is ranked in the top ten of the most violent Mexican cities.  From 2007 to 2016, the number of annual homicides increased over 320% from 229 to 961.

According to their report the following drug-trafficking cartels are active in the region: La Familia Michoacana, Caballeros Templarios, Cartel Del Golfo, Los Zetas, and Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion.

Allegedly there is an ongoing dispute between Los Zetas and Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion:

According to the PGR’s criminal map, CJNG has total control of Guanajuato territories. This group is considered by the US authorities as the most powerful in México nowadays, above the Sinaloa Cartel, led by the extradited Joaquin Guzman Loera, “El Chapo”, commanding 30 out of 46 Guanajuato’s municipalities (León, San Francisco del Rincón, Purísima, Manuel Doblado, Silao, Cuerámaro, Dolores Hidalgo, Irapuato, Salamanca, Villagrán, Jaral del Progreso, Maravatío, Salvatierra, Villagrán and San Miguel de Allende), along with other territories in the neighboring states of Jalisco and Michoacán.

Other rankings have placed Guanajuato as the single-most deadly state due to Narco-related crime designating it as a “killing zone.”  That’s really too bad since it’s quite a beautiful place:

Trump Was Right (Again)

President Trump has been one of the most vocal public figures to alert Americans to the Mexican Menace.  While campaigning in 2015, he warned Americans:

When do we beat Mexico at the border? They’re laughing at us, at our stupidity. And now they are beating us economically. They are not our friend, believe me. But they’re killing us economically. The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime.

Once again, President Trump said what others were unable or unwilling to speak about.  Once again President Trump has been vindicated–only he probably didn’t expect them to start sending their improvised explosive devices affixed to drones.  Who could?
