BREAKING: It Looks Like Mueller Broke The Law
It looks like the poster-boy for the Democrat Party’s war on Trump has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. A lawyer with Trump’s legal team has issued a letter that was sent to Congress declaring Special Counsel Robert Mueller operated outside the law. That’s our polite way of saying the Mueller broke the law in obtaining materials on the Trump administration’s transition team. Trump’s lawyer had a polite term of choice as well, he called the act “unlawful conduct.”
I wonder if this means that Robert Mueller will remove Robert Mueller from the Robert Mueller probe citing his own misconduct. After all, he has already had to remove multiple agents from his team. One of those removed was Bruce G. Ohr. It was reported that Ohr had contacted the firm that produced the now infamous Trump Dossier.
Well, if Ohr’s conduct was improper, it’s hard to argue that Mueller’s is any different. It’s time to end this charade! Mueller should be held to a higher standard, if anything.
A lawyer for the Trump presidential transition team is accusing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office of inappropriately obtaining transition documents as part of its Russia probe, including confidential attorney-client communications and privileged communications. In a letter obtained by Fox News and sent to House and Senate committees on Saturday, the transition team’s attorney alleges “unlawful conduct” by the career staff at the General Services Administration in handing over transition documents to the special counsel’s office.
Officials familiar with the case argue Mueller could have a problem relating to the 4th Amendment – which protects against unreasonable searches and seizures. Kory Langhofer, the counsel to Trump for America, wrote in the letter that the the GSA “did not own or control the records in question.” But, Langhofer says, Mueller’s team has “extensively used the materials in question, including portions that are susceptible to claims of privilege.”
